National board-certified neurosurgeon in Greece and also an individual member of European Association of Neurosurgical Societies (EANS), the Eurospine, the AOSpine and the Hellenic Neurosurgical Society, as well as of other neuroscientific societies (SAN, FENS, IBRO etc). He currently is the treasurer and a member of board of directors of Hellenic Society for Biomedical Technology.
His PhD thesis is on neuronal circuits of the brain after spinal cord injury. He has been awarded a “Mario Boni” Research Grant from Cervical Spine Research Society – European Section, for the project “CSI:Brainwave”.
