Ranko Zotovic Stanisic, Spain
Universitat Politecnica de Valencia
WG1, WG2, WG3-member
My main research interest are the robots that make contact with humans like wearable and lightweight robots, as well as their medical applications.
My fields of expertise are robotics, mechatronics and control theory.
I have a degree in Electrical engineering from the University of Belgrade and a PhD in automation and industrial informatics from Universitat Politecnica de Valencia.
I did my PhD Thesis in robot force, impedance and impact control.
I am Professor of Robotics at the Universitat Politècnica de València for more than twenty years.
I participated in several Spanish National Projects and two European projects related with robotics (albeit not wearable robotics).
I have been the chief researcher of a project of a wearable robot arm for disabled funded by the Universitat Politècnica de València in collaboration with the University Hospital “La Fe”.
